My Dear George — Letter to George Hunt — San Diego to Estero — August 25, 1899
Scope & Content:
Teed describes his work in California. He speaks of the "... prospect of good success in many ways." Teed also speaks of the "Whiteside business". He asks Hunt to try and make "...a payment of what you can spare..." The Estero group is in need, but Teed wants to avoid any litigation with Whiteside and the bank. Teed closes by telling Hunt that he is going on to San Francisco, hoping to return to Estero soon. The letter closes by saying; "Love to Emma and all. Your own, Cyrus, Shepherd, Stone of Israel"
