Title:
My Dear Little Emma — Letter to Emma Norton — Binghampton NY to Moravia NY
Scope & Content:
Teed writes with news of his work. He says; "I have not much news to write. My time since coming to B. is spent teaching. I find Wm. Hoyt's family considerably interested. I have spent some little time with Delia and find that she is growing a good deal, but it seems hard for her to accept me as the shepherd[?] while at the same time she confesses her belief in the doctrines I advocate. Dr. A is much interested as ever and no doubt believes me to be the divinely appointed man." Teed continues; "I hope you will be cheerful and do all you can to comfort both yourself and Sarah while I am away." Teed closes with his desire for Emma to write to Delia
