The Koreshans

This site contains a listing of the former holdings of the Koreshan State Historic Site. In 2016 these holdings were transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University. This site can be used to research these former holdings, but what you find here is no longer located at the State Historic Site. Go HERE to view the finding aid for the physical materials located at the university. Note the extensive "Collection Organization" on the right side of the page. The University has gone to great lengths to catalog these items, many of which are available to view online. You may have to visit the University to view some of the items. Take a look as well at the FGCU Special Collections & Archives home page. Also note that photographs, and now, a number (over 800) of manuscripts, letters etc. are available online at Digital FGCU

Keep in mind there are a number of other sites that contain information and archives for the Koreshans. The Archives of the State of Florida has the bulk of the material. You can also view their photo collection.
